During this class, students will learn how to use shapes to draw an ice cream cone! Students will develop painting skills by painting the flavors for their ice cream.

Students will learn to draw 3-D shapes and create an imaginary place using the shapes. Students will learn about surrealism artists Salvador Dali and M.C. Escher for inspiration. Students will have the options to add color using colored pencils, sharpie markers or watercolor paint. $10 per student

During this fun art class, students will create a variety of drawing and painting projects while learning about famous artists and developing new drawing and painting skills. They will get the opportunity to work with other young artists in a group setting to express themselves through art creating original art masterpieces each week. Students will also have an opportunity to create a clay project during the 6 week session. You can participate in as many classes as you choose during the session. Classes will be $10 a class or $50 for the full 6 week commitment. Friday classes will begin August 25th-September 29th. I will be forming the weekly lessons once I have an idea of age of students registered and students interests.

Students will create a sculpture out of air dry clay. Students will paint the clay project the following week allowing time for the clay to dry. We will also start a self portrait if students have time for both.,

Students will use one point perspective drawing techniques to draw a palace of their choice. We will focus on the Disney Castle and Taj Mahal for inspiration. $10 per student

This is a 2 part class. Day 1 we will create a clay sculpture and make a background for a painting landscape. The following Wednesday we will paint the clay projects and finish the painting landscape. Cost is $25 for the 2 weeks Or $15 if you prefer to attend one class and paint clay at home.

Students will learn drawing and shading skills by creating a still life drawing. They will create their own background using paint. $10 per student

Students will learn one-point perspective drawing techniques to create a dream bedroom. $10 per student

Friday classes will meet weekly September 23rd through December 16th with no classes on November 11th and November 25th. Classes will be $10 a student with attend 3 classes get the 4th free. You do not need to commit to all the weeks, I just ask you let me know dates you plan to attend. We will cover a large variety of projects ranging from: one-point perspective techniques, landscape painting techniques, surrealism art, Picasso Abstract Art, Van Gough style art, holiday/ season theme art and 1-2 clay projects. I will split the group into 2 groups if over 10 kids register. Come join in some creative fun!

Students will create a cityscape drawing/ painting with a 4th of July firework background. We will work on tempra blending techniques to create the artwork. $10 per student
