Students will use Primary colors to create Secondary colors. They will explore new techniques with tempera paint to create new colors. Students will paint a realistic tree painting using the new colors.

Students will create a cityscape drawing/ painting with a 4th of July firework background. We will work on tempra blending techniques to create the artwork.

Come join us in this fun creative homeschool art class meeting in Westley Chapel. Students will create an Ocean Sunset Painting while learning new painting and blending skills.

Young artists will learn new watercolor painting skills to create a still life fruit painting. They will also get the opportunity to explore with the watercolor paint creating their own abstract paintings. Please register and I will contact you with more information. This fun class will focus on basic beginner painting, drawing and sculpting skills. This 4 week class will focus on how to use different art mediums each week to create original works of art. The 4 dates they will meet are: September 20th, September 27th, October 4th and October 11th. Registering for this class will hold a spot for all 4 weeks. Please register for individual weeks if you don’t want to attend all 4 classes.
Week 1: watercolor skills
Week 2: Tempra paint skills and color mixing
Week 3: drawing with oil pastels along with clay building.
Week 4: Painting Clay objects and review.
Kids will get the opportunity to work in a group setting and explore how to create with all the variety of art materials.
You can register for the full 4 week class at $50 total, or attend individual dates at $15 a class.

This is a 2 part class. Day 1 we will create a clay sculpture and make a background for a painting landscape. The following Wednesday we will paint the clay projects and finish the painting landscape.
Cost is $25 for the 2 weeks
